Moon Knight, whose real name is Marc Spector, is a fictional comic book character who fights against the Infernals. Created by Doug Moench (script) and Don Perlin (art) published by Marvel Comics. He first appears (in a two-part story) in the pages of Werewolf by Night (first series) #32 (August 1975).

The website IGN placed the character at number 89 on its list of the 100 greatest comic book heroes of all time.

In Italian it was initially presented with the name Lunar.

Marc Spector used three false names to avoid revealing his true identity: Jake Lockley, Steven Grant and Yitzak Topol.
