Betty Boop is a famous character from the world of animation, from the years 1932-1939. Conceived in 1930, and created in 1932, from the prolific and irreverent imagination of the Fleischer brothers. In the early 1930s, it had the voice of actress Ann Little. The figure of Betty burst with an unpredictable erotic charge in the panorama of American animation, punctuated by rounded children and talking animals. She is the typical flapper, that is the fashionable girl of the jazz period, irreverent and maliciously masculine. She wears the trendiest haircut of the period, short and fringed, wears a skimpy dress that leaves her shoulders and garter uncovered, and seems more than aware of her sex appeal but is also equipped with a good dose of self-irony. She first appeared on August 9, 1930 in the 6-minute black and white cartoon Dizzy Dishes, but as a poodle, in 1932 she first appeared as a human in the short film Bamboo Isle.
