The 6th Wing, known as the "Red Devils," is an interdiction unit of the Italian Air Force operating the Panavia Tornado aircraft. It reports to the Combat Forces Command in Milan and is based at Ghedi Airport.
The wing, named in memory of pilot lieutenant Alfredo Fusco, is made up of 3 groups (102nd "Giuseppe Cenni", 154th and 155th) of the CBOC (conventional all-weather fighter-bombers), CRO (all-weather fighter-reconnaissance aircraft), OCU (operational conversion unit) and ETS (Electronic Warfare Tactical Suppression) specialties.
