Unit badge of the United States Army Parachute Team, known as the "Golden Knights."


The black and gold colors were adopted by the team to symbolize excellence, inspired by the colors of the United States Military Academy.


The Golden Knights are one of three air demonstration teams sanctioned by the Department of Defense, along with the Navy's Blue Angels and the Air Force's Thunderbirds.


The team is made up of approximately 90 soldiers from various military specialties.
The pin was approved on November 9, 1981
