Distinctive certificate of Recreational or Sport Flight (VDS).

The VDS certificate is the certification required to pilot ultralight aircraft (such as airplanes, helicopters, gyrocopters, powered hang gliders, and paramotors) for non-profit recreational and sporting activities.

It is issued by the Aero Club d'Italia and valid throughout the country.

It allows you to fly under visual flight rules (VFR).

The badge was established by resolution of the Federal Council of the Aero Club of Italy.
