The Punisher emblem used as a symbol by the Navy Seals The US Navy SEALs are the Special Operations Forces of the United States Navy, within which there is a component specialized in counter-terrorism, commonly known as "SEAL Team 6" but officially called the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU). The Seals are the special operations forces employed by the government of the United States of America in unconventional conflicts and wars, internal defense, direct action, anti-terrorism actions and in special reconnaissance missions, in mainly maritime and coastal operational environments. Their name (SEAL) is an acronym that includes the environments in which they have been trained to operate (SEa, sea - Air, air - Land, dry land). They have operated several times with similar special forces (such as the English SAS and the American Delta Force).
