COMAER provides technical-logistical and administrative support to the Armed Forces and inter-force entities located in the Palazzo Aeronautica area, the Centocelle Airport site, including, recently, the General Secretariat of Defense/National Armaments Directorate, and the Vigna di Valle Airport Command–AM Historical and Sports Center. It guarantees territorial functions and liaison with the Entities and Administrations present in the Capital area and performs the Aeronautical Garrison functions provided for by sector regulations.
