The Marine Brigade (since 1 March 2013 Marine Brigade "San Marco") is a large amphibious unit of the Navy established on 1 March 2013, reorganizing the Navy Landing Force. Its command is in Brindisi.

It is part of the joint amphibious component of the Sea Projection Force, whose commander is the same admiral who commands the San Marco Marine Brigade.

Their motto is "Per Mare Per Terram"
