The Alfa Romeo 155 (project number 167) is a D-segment passenger car produced by the Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1992 to 1998 at the Alfa Romeo plant in Pomigliano d'Arco.

Launched to replace the Alfa Romeo 75 (which, however, remained in production in the "1.6 ie" and "2.0 TD" versions until the end of 1993), the 155 abandoned the classic Alfa Romeo mid-size transaxle and rear-wheel drive layout, adopting a front-wheel drive configuration with four-wheel independent suspension. The 155 adopted the platform derived from the Tipo2 project with which it shared, with the other cars derived from the same project, the length of the wheelbase and the MacPherson strut suspension at the front and trailing arm suspension at the rear.

Like its ancestor the Alfa Romeo 75, the Alfa Romeo 155 boasts special series-produced versions, each with its own distinctive features for those versions.

In 1992, in the wake of the victories obtained by the 155 GTA in the Italian CIVT championship, it was decided to start production of a "Strade" version of the GTA to be built at the Abarth workshop.

The car was born from the transformation of the Q4. The modifications included: the carbon fiber body, the rear suspension with the Delta layout, and the Delta Evoluzione engine.

Due to prohibitive production costs, only one car was built. The car was exhibited at the Bologna Motor Show and was used as a safety car in the 1994 Italian Grand Prix at Monza.
