U.S. Armed Forces Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) badge, commonly called "The Crab" due to its shape.

The badge is awarded to military personnel specializing in the handling and disposal of explosive munitions, nuclear, biological, chemical weapons, and improvised explosive devices.

The design features a free-falling bomb at its center, with four lightning bolts radiating from it, all enclosed in a laurel wreath.

The EOD Badge is one of the few military insignia issued in identical form to officers and enlisted personnel in all branches of the United States Armed Forces.

There are three levels of this badge: Basic, Senior, and Master, which are awarded based on the EOD technician's experience and qualifications.
