The patch measures 7 x 9 cm and has a male/female velcro backing.

The Institute of Aeronautical Military Sciences (ISMA) is a higher education institution of the Italian Air Force, based in Florence.

ISMA trains Air Force Officers.

It develops aeronautical thinking and trains professionals who hold important positions in the Commands.

The Institute is located within the Cascine park of Florence.

Together with the Giulio Douhet Air Force Military School, it is part of the Air Warfare School complex of the Italian Air Force.
