The National Aerobatic Team (PAN), whose official name is 313th Aerobatic Training Group, but which is commonly known as the Frecce Tricolori, is the aerobatic team of the Italian Air Force, created in 1961 following the Air Force's decision to establish a permanent group for the collective aerial acrobatics training of its pilots; its operational base is at Rivolto airport (UD).

With ten aircraft (since 1982 they have been using the Aermacchi MB.339 A/PAN MLU), nine in formation and one solo, they are the largest aerobatic team in the world, and their flight program, comprising about twenty acrobatics lasting approximately half an hour, has made them famous and recognized as one of the best aerobatic teams internationally, performing stunts all year round
