Patch 31st Air Force Wing

The patch measures 7 x 9 cm and has a male/female velcro backing.

The wing, named after "Carmelo Raiti", is based at Rome-Ciampino airport.

Its main task is the transport of state authorities and public utility missions.

These missions include emergency medical transport of seriously ill patients, organs for transplants, and humanitarian interventions.

The coat of arms depicts the eagle of the Italian Air Force integrated into the bow of a vessel (that of the Argonauts), illuminated by the seven stars of the Pleiades.
