These items are produced according to very specific production standards dictated by the Ministry of Defense

The patch is rubberized and has a male/female velcro backing, it measures 8 cm in diameter.

The Operational Support Teams (SOS) are units established in 2016, in response to the contemporary increase in the terrorist threat towards the European continent, within all regiments and battalions of the Carabinieri.

They are responsible for intervening as quickly as possible to address high-risk crisis situations, as well as preventing, countering, and containing acts of terrorism, should the GIS's immediate intervention not be possible, and in any case while awaiting its intervention.
