3rd Wing Air Force Pin

These items are produced according to very specific production standards dictated by the Ministry of Defense.

The pin is made of enamelled metal and measures 2.5 x 3 cm

Since 4 September 2014, the 3rd Wing has been under the control of the Head of the Support Service of the AM Logistics Command (Rome), is based at the airport of Villafranca di Verona and acts as an “initial strategic facilitator” of the Air Force’s logistical projection capabilities. This means being able to project Operational Support and General Logistics Support in Italy and abroad, both in the very early stages of deployment and in the preparation and consolidation phase of support. Furthermore, it takes care of the preparation of procedures, methodologies, and equipment suitable for optimizing and rationalizing the activity of the dependent articulations during field deployments, ensuring the maintenance of the equipment and tools supplied.
